Road Safety (Class 4)

Class: Class 4 Year: 2013 - 2014

Today (9th January 2014), PC Dave Murray visited school and spent some time with each class talking about Road Safety.

He spoke to Class 4 about the height children should be before they can travel in a car without a booster seat (135cm) and spoke about general dangers which can occur if a driver is distracted by other tings, such as music, chatter etc.

He also spoke to us about being safe on the roads as a pedestrian or a cyclist and discussed the Green Cross Code.

Finally, we were lucky enough to get to look in his traffic car, hear the sirens and listen to lots of different incidents which the Police have to intend.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time - enjoy looking at the photos!
